I'm getting a 404 error message when I click the link saying your server might be down.

Yeah steamwise is down, trying to contact pete bout it.

It's doing random things like making me download a file called "Download." and no file extension.

I'm investigating that at the moment.

Okay, Steamwise is back up, but the 1bardesign subdomain doesn't seem to be working properly. I think we might have been moved onto a different server, in which case the DNS would need time to propagate.

This is wierd.

1BarDesign subdomain takes me to the regular Steamwise page. The regular Steamwise page makes me download that stupid file.

Okay, I'm hopefully going to be able to get everything back online in a bit.
In the meantime,

1BarDesign now is just a white screen with Steamwise.org in big letters across it.

I don't know if I can deal with it. Pete, please, I think I'm withering away!

Weird things were happening yesterday with it :/ Downtime is lame, but I suppose we just have to deal till everything propagates back.

edit: pete's working on it, just chatted to him. At least the root domain can display stuff now.

Okay, everything is in a state where I can fix it now.

I just need to re-add the 1bardesign subdomain, and put back the main Steamwise site.

Getting work done on death effects but it's still limited. I should drop the screen shake as well..

uncropped sides so it reminds me to work on them later if I check in. I think I'll put blood trails on the chunks of flesh to make it a little clearer what's going on.

Oh yeah, also, I'm working on Zone One finally.


It has a tunnel, which will have some float mines, but as it's zone one stage one I should be gentle I suppose. I've got to put trees and grass everywhere soon too, I'll make a few more decor groups to make that easier.

Pete tells me the sight is waiting on tech support to fix a small thing he can't do from his end, so the forums and blog, as well as Prelude and RvR (and the protoRTS download and the design documents) should be up soon.

By the way, everything is still available at steamwise.org/1bardesign, except the links are broken.
But yeah, hopefully I'll get a response (and a fix, ideally) from tech support.

The forum uses relative links so it still works if you access it from http://steamwise.org/1bardesign/forum/ but the blog is pretty inaccessible and the games are hard locked to a different url.
