I'm wondering if they're doing any more stretch goals.

An example of an Stretch goal i would like to see is something more related to actual space stuff.

Since last time i check the only thing you do in space is travel, and that more of a Map system i believe, there no actual space engagements or Asteroids to mine and such.

High chance i'm wrong however and i misunderstood some part of what they said will be in the game regarding space.

They said they want to add more space things, but after release.
Specifically, they want to add FTL style ship combat.

There's pictures of in-game moon bases and stuff
I don't know where they are but I've seen them

If you can shape your own spacestations, a bunch of us should get together and build Tradestar Midas.

I am 100% with that Idea.

Depending if it get on Steam and allow to use Steam Server i'll Most likely host. although If not i'm most likely using Hamachi.

I haven't check the forum in awhile and there is a lot of thing to lurk through, but is there a diffculity option like in terraria?. the whole softcore mediumcore hardcore stuff?

You don't want to check the forums, the only thing there is terrible race suggestions.
If there's any info at all, it'll be in the newsletter.
Also, I assume there are difficulties, but there's barely any info about the game.

I do check the forums but the only thing i do check which is the Pre order part, to see if there any information on stuff, Other than that, I always had stayed the ♥♥♥♥ away from their forums, as you mention there is a lot of crappy race ideas.
Though personally there is a few good ideas, Novakids for instance, but then you got the thousands of OP, or Anime/Catgirl/Furry races.
I do know i'll Make a 40K Universe mod for sure. (Fanboyism ahoy!)

I do hope the Diffculity is more to With a created character, I.e like Terraria does. I honestly feel like playing Starbound with Perma Death on. on my first run of it at least.

I dunno if I'll get this. So far, I've seen some features that look pretty neat, mainly with the space system. But then I see some features, like pets, that I ain't really interested in.

I guess time will tell if I get it.

Pets were a hotly contested addition to the game. Half of the fan base hate them, and then other half kinda like them.

well from what i understand, Pet was already going to be in the game.

The Stretch goal add starter pets, and add more development onto the pets.

In all honesty i find it stupid to hate stuff like that, at the end of the day it's more content.

From a practical standpoint, the more content added, the further away the game release will be, or they can keep it at the same release date by half baking the feature.

In my opinion, it would be better to leave a large chunk of content for post release so that the developers can ensure a well developed game on launch.

well from what i know, all the Stretch goal content will hired work. i.e the company hire people to work on them while the main game still getting made.

as long as it doesn't become feature creep it's usually okay.

In all honesty Novakid's seem to be the only content that would be longest to make.
