The spoiler thing stopped being funny pretty much immediately.

Re: Portal 2
But yea I beat Portal 2 yesterday. It is surprisingly simple once I have an epiphany. I usually waste like 30 minutes on a hard puzzle just walking around thinking about what I need to do or where I need to go.
Loved the ending though, and the song is badass. It is kinda sad that they wrapped up the ending, I highly doubt a Portal 3 will ever exist because of that ending. Then again they made it work with Portal 1... With a little update.

Re: Portal 2
The following is actual spoiling discussion.
Potados is incredibly adorable, it's ridiculous. The 'I'm different' turret is adorable as well. The writing is great and I was really impressed at how everything tied into itself.

Re: Portal 2
A lot of people have the theory that Caroline (and hence GLaDOS) is Chell's biological mother. Their thinking was that one of the potatoes in "Bring Your Daughter to Works Day" had Chell's name on, her surname always appears as [REDACTED] when it appears in any official media and GLaDOS says that they had two employees on file with her surname (though she could also easily be lying). Now personally I thought this was a bit of a silly theory, but then I found the most convincing piece of evidence, a translation from Latin to English of the Turret Opera at the end.
Quote:
Dear beautiful, my beautiful darling! My child, oh Chell! [pun: "oh heavens!"] For I hold her in esteem... For I hold her in esteem. Farewell to my dear! My dear girl, why do you not walk away? Yes, away from Science, My dear, my dear girl? Ah, my beautiful! Ah, my dear! Ah, my dear! Ah, my child! Oh dear, my dear...

Re: Portal 2
Wow, that's a surprise. Anyways, what's everyone's opinion on Wheatley?
For me, he genuinly cared for Chell in the beginning, however when he was plugged into GLaDOS's body, he was corrupted. This is hinted by what he says after the credits.
