Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
I'm up, then? Lets see how badly I can inadvertently ruin this fortress. *cracks knuckles*
(Or did I miss my timeslot?)
EDIT: Holy crap dawg, Awesomesmith died! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

EDIT2: Doc Bloody! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! WHY?! WHYYYYY?!
EDIT3: Damn it, alcohol maker is throwing a tantrum.
EDIT4: Dwarven child just went berserk, I expect some funny deaths. On which side? I cannot say.
EDIT5: Found Duh's bloody corpse in the hallway.
EDIT6: dwarf kid just went apeshit on some poor guys, body count is now at 1. Poor Sarvesh.
EDIT7: Just saw the update 'so-and-so became a stray cat.' wth?
EDIT8: Watching the berserk kid chase the bone doctor around the room.
EDIT9: Bone doctor killed the boy, (splattered) in cold-blood.
EDIT10: Whoever turned into a cat just bled to death. DX

When cats grow up from a kitten to cat you get that message. Also when their owner dies methinks.

My vote goes to "PROJEKT: ♥♥♥♥ THE WORLD" from boatmurdered. Lava flood the world in some spectacular manner!
Make sure you save just as you pull the lever though, so that we can relive the fun over and over!

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
Which is why I liked the old version better, I don't know what to change, but i'm only getting one or maybe two volcanoes per gen. I know Magma is guaranteed, but by the time I get that many levels down I don't have enough resources/Dwarves/Dwarfsources left to make enough pumps to get it high enough to make a "PROJEKT: ♥♥♥♥ THE WORLD" type device. Could somebody tell me which way I should tweak the VOLCANO FREQUENCY value, and what those changes do?

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
Just press "e" when creating a custom world to open the advanced options panel, then scroll a bit down and you'll see an option labeled "volcano number".
It is not a good idea to put more than five in a pocket world, but with bigger worldgens anything up to 200 is fair play.

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
I see volcano minimum and maximum, but no specific variable. I set the minimum to fifty, max stayed at 100, but I think that has nothing to do with anything. Values are 0-100
EDIT: ♥♥♥♥, found it... I'm blind.
