B25 - Scene editor issues
So I tried to use the scene editor to make a new scene, and it gave me an option to make a scene in a specific rte folder. I decided to put it in my mod folder, called "SixShooter.rte" and then I made the scene. I saved it, and quit Cortex Command to play it later.
I booted up CC a day later, and it crashed on "Scenes line 3" of my mod folder. Except in my index.ini, I have no "Scenes" nor do I have an actual Scenes.ini in the folder. I also can't find any trace of my scene, which I named "Fortress," in any of the CC folders.
So now I can't boot up CC and I can't find what's causing it to crash. Does anyone know what happened, or how I can fix it?

Re: B25 - Scene editor issues
Hi,
Unfortunately CC wants to save your created scene in "modname.rte\scenes\scenename.ini". Even more unfortunate is the fact that CC won't create the folder "scenes" if it isn't there. And the most unfortunate event is CC actually saying it saved your scene when in fact it couldn't.
In a nutshell: Make a folder called "scenes" in your .rte folder and next time it should save it normally. (You can do a safety check and load up the map, edit something, save it and immediately load it again.)

Re: B25 - Scene editor issues
I made a "scenes" folder in my rte but it still crashes when I try to actually start the game.
Error: "Failed to open included data in SixShooter.rte/Scenes.ini at line 3!" I have no Scenes.ini, and I have no idea what is calling Scenes.ini to be loaded.

Re: B25 - Scene editor issues
Mod runs fine. I created a new scene, saved it and it has been saved in the \scenes folder. I don't see any problems.

Re: B25 - Scene editor issues
Then it must have done something retarded to the base.rte. I'll reinstall CC.
Update: Reinstalling to the same location still gave me an error. I reinstalled into a new location, and now it works. Whatever :/
Thanks for the help
