Scene in making, Nothing fancy yet but just started
Hi all,
I am trying my hand on scene making. the scene is nowhere near completion BUT it is a campaign mission and I need some feedback on how challenging this is.
Code is mostly stolen/borrowed from the assasination mission. Also sorry for the crappy cave.
Like I said, completely and utterly a WIP so only useful feedback please!

ps. Don't mind the ridiculous names and story lines, they will be changed. I'm mostly just fooling around ^^;

Actually there's a trick to get past the two gun-turrets. Just shoot the hinges of the shuttle doors from the outside and the door will collapse in a most interesting way...
Also, no mining through the roof U! >.>

Played it, I really like the mission. Simple, but entertaining. I found the door thing on my own, it's pretty standard CC physics. I have a suggestion about the landing zone areas, you probably want to dissuade people from filling a crate with rocks and bombs and burrowing a bomb into the brain room. (Well, you need a negative priced thing for that, but that's old hat game-breaking.) It just needs to be moved to only cover the starting location.
Also, is the brain bot seriously carrying a gatling gun? He cannot kill you with it.

I hate to be the first one to point this out, but the scene was pretty much taken entirely from Ketanot Hills. I hope you're going to be changing more than the width of the map and the cave. If this was somehow intentional, and you're planning on changing it, then great.

What is wrong with making a campaign mission out of an existing scene? IMHO anyone who is creating more scripted missions are doing us players a real favor since there are so few official missions.

Mmmkay. I can't be arsed rattling off a list of the things wrong with that, so instead I'm gonna tell you that people hate it when you use their stuff without giving creds. Whoever made that scene WANTS CREDS, like everyone else in the DRL forum community.

So give Data credit for making Ketanot Hills? You pretty much already did that by making a mod.

Digging a lower path is much easier then going past the well-placed snipers, although if you go up you can dig straight onto the brainbot fun map.
