Post subject:  Trampoline (not going to be released WIP)

So I took Prom Grounds and modified it and made a trampoline. It's extremely basic Lua but a nice idea of what you can do with just a zone and some velocity coding.

Keep in mind this is a hundredth of a thousandth of a tenth percent of the tip of the iceberg with Lua.

But some people on IRC wanted me to release it. And it IS fun to mess with.

Note: trampoline is invisible. But it will affect you if you believe in it. It affects the AI, too.

Oh, and you have to manually place a brain, even though there's one in the silo.

Umm where is the trampoline located? In the base or in the air?

It's about 150 pixels above the ground.

Once you hit it or go past it you'll notice.

Yeah i just noticed the "Magical" Trampoline and it made my ship explode...

I can't find it. I also tried to increase the area size, but it still doesn't work.

You have to come at it from above. Spawn a rocket and fly downward at a fairly slow velocity and you should notice it.

Is it above a certain spot, or is it across th entire map? It's not working.

Make sure you open the scene from the Campaign menu.

I managed to beat the trampoline with an upside down rocket, full thrusters, and 2 MPAMs fully loaded with gear.
Of course, the rocket crashed, but the MPAMs didnt mind.

I added a number of ways to "beat" it.

If your horizontal velocity is above fifty when you hit the trampoline, it'll let you through. And stop your momentum.
