Re: Portal Demo
Actually, a portal gun is totally possible with the current code. I have some GIFs here of the one I'm working on if anybody's interested.

It would not be a true portal gun. It'd still be SCENE LUA. Or a dofile. Quote: I don't think a portal gun could quite work at the moment: unless we can create areas from a gun, that is. Areas are hardly needed. Plus they are limited to squares. They're not needed at all for the portal gun. Re: Portal Demo
By the "areas" thing, I meant that we only know enough for it to be checking constantly within a scene (as you said) instead of live checking, meaning the gun would have to output areas so that the scene could check if the actor was in them. Unless we used attachables to stick to the wall and enumerated them, therefore allowing us to check if the actor was near said portal. Then we could have pairings and so on, so other actors would have portal guns allowing maximum mental portal mayhem. But it's not likely to happen unless we can control the Game.Update (or whatever) function while the game is running, as a simple while(1) makes the game hang.

Clearly, you haven't learned a thing. 3 day ban, next one is permanent. When you get back, look up the forum rules. There's a rule in which you must respect other users. It's very easy to give criticism without acting like a brat. A shame actually, I've seen normal posts from you that actually argue a point without throwing juvenile insults. However, they are quickly drowned out by posts that claim complete superiority over the opponent and then refer them to a lesser group. If I see an alt, it's permanent.
