Post I have trouble installing .rar mods
So, when i try to install a .ZIP mod it works smoothly. When i try to install .rar mods its a bit, horrible. All .rar mods that i've found aren't folders, their icon is a sheet of paper. I can't extract from these mods, thus not being able to use them (And a lot of mods are .rar!). I hope i don't sound that much like an imbecile.

I had the same problem when I was new to the whole mod thing, just download WinRAR, its free and will unpack both .zip and .rar files quickly and easily.
It will nag you to buy it, but you can just ignore it.

You could also get 7zip, it's freeware so it won't bother you to register it.

Comparing Winrar and 7zip is like comparing a musket with an OICW. >:3

Seriously, who still uses Winrar?

(The only thing I hate in 7zip is the 'unspecified error' that happens whenever I do something else while it decompresses a file.)

I still use it apparently. You two gonna clarify a little, or just continue acting all superior?

Winrar is nagware, 7zip is open source and can also utilize more archive formats. The choice is mostly moot if neither of those factors influence your decision much. I would recommend 7zip because it's open source personally.

Well, you know, a musket is a single shot thing, and isn't really accura...wait, you're talking about 7zip and Winrar? In that case, I'd prefer full mystery.
