Hi there!
I've got a serious problem. Cortex Command (23 build) freeze to death in my computer. I haven't got any problems at the previous build, but now, its freezing. If i press ESC during the game, a black blank screen pops up and the computer die. I can press ALT TAB, but i cant go to desktop or anywhere else , but for CTRLALTDEL i cant go to taskmngr. Sometimes it freeze during the game, so i dont know what to do. It's not a sharware version, i bought it a long time ago.

i've got:
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 6000+
Motherboard:Gigabyte M61PME-S2
RAM:4Gigs, 800Mhz
VGA:MSI nVidia 9500GT 512Mb PCI-E 16x
And 3x250GB SATA HDD, but i've got enough free space, so it's not a problem.
OS:MS Vista Ultimate 64Bit, Ultimate.

So please help me, i want to play with the game :)

I forgot, i don't use any mods, just the original installed stuff.

I tried the game with my Laptop too, and freeze to eath said hello to me there too.
At the laptop, i've got the Same MS windows Vista X64 ultimate.

So, how can i solve this problem?

We'll look into this. Updates teh runtuime dll's in the last build, probably what made ti stop working.

I am sick and tired of these stupid inane posts. Take a week out and just look at the good posts for a while, I'll try to keep up and nuke the posts that aren't good.

I can second this issue. Seems totally random, and locks it into requiring a hard restart.

I installed SP2 to Vista 64bit Ultimate, and i played about 15 mins, and its not freezing, i can move back to the main screen, and stuff, so it's like ok, but i'm not sure about that. I'll try it later again, but now i must sleep :)

Ok, i think Servise Pack 2 solve the problem somehow. I played about 3 hours and the game still not produce that hard freezing, so it's ok. But you should write to the homepage this, i mean The SP2 requied for Windows Vista 64 bit. Or fix the anomaly, for the players who only have SP1 vista.

Confirmed. SP2 does fix this issue.

I dont sure about that, it's still freezing in my laptop, SP2. :( But desktop is ok.
