I recently started tampering with the coding of mods (to make actors invincible and cost negative money and stuff) and it worked for build 22 quite nicely. But I just downloaded build 23 and Ive been trying to change the code and it wont let me save the changed code, so I just thought it was some sort of blocking thing that modders put up so people wont screw around with there mods. So I then started doing the Tutorial from Lord Tim, (chapter 4) in the mod making section. And I realised that, PromGrounds.rte does not exist in my CC folder, and also that I cant save and .ini files, because it says I need the Administrators permission. Im going to blame it on Vista on the account of me hating it and not having anything else to blame it on other than myself, but Id like there to be way to fix this without having to get another computer. So my questions are: 1) Is it impossible to mod with Vista or is my computer messed up? 2) How do I fix it? 3) Where the hell did PromGrounds.rte go? |

Answer to all 3: Don't install to Program Files. Vista doesn't like things in there being changed. |

also, you can get prom grounds from any other build that had it and pop it into your CC folder. i might actually make a more.. standardised prom grounds download, using B23's marvelous copyof system. and fixing the stupid brains thing <_< i suggest installing it to your desktop, its easier to get to. |

if your using vista, you can also run command prompt as an administrator to make changes to program files things |
