Why can't I play any mods?

Post subject:  Why can't I play any mods?
I've downloaded some mods (e.g: DSTech, UniTech, mod archives) but neither of them are working. I wrote // in front of the "include... activities.ini" line in the Base.rte/index.ini and uncommented the same in the DSTech.rte's .ini file but it doesn't work. And the same with all of the others. I tried to download the Mod Loader, but it has been deleted in April as I read. Can somebody help me?

When the game is loading, do you get an error? If you do, post a picture of it.

No I don't get any errors. The mods are simply not loading in (I couldn't see neither of its file names in the loading screen).
What shall I do if I've copied the mods directories in the main CC directory to play with them? :-(

do they say .rte after the files. like your base.rte.

If you think about the "...activities.ini" line in the Base.rte/index.ini, then I did. If you think something else (what I don't know), please write it...

Yes, all the directory names are ending with *.rte


I really don't know what the problem is :D I would be very thankful if somebody could explain it.

Hmmm.... Try making a new folder somewhere else with exactly the same name, Ctrl+X on all the files in the old folder and move it to the new one and delete the old folder, before moving the new one in. It could be the extracting crap....

Oh my holy ******************* god!
I don't know why, but I have two copies of Cortex Command and I was trying to play with that, which isn't working... The other is totally virgin. :x
