Food. Recipes, ingredients, favorite meals, all goes here.
Basically, just talk about anything pertaining to food. What you like to eat, things you've made, recipes, sauces, even cooking utensils if you want! Just discuss.
For me: I made some barbeque pork last week, and we still have some of it. My mom wanted to reuse the liquid for something but it went bad before she could. I also made some french toast. Real damn good, especially with PB and syrup. Lastly, I tried sweet'n'sour sauce today. Actually not bad. It leaves a bland aftertaste in my mouth and kind of makes me feel weird when I eat it though, hell if I know why. Makes me all tingly. Still, it tastes good with chicken.
Also I have some impromptu drink mixes that I tend to stir up quite often. Mello Yello + fruit punch = fruit punch but zingier and more deliciousier Strawberry + Root beer = sweeter root beer (good for floats) Fruit punch + pineapple soda + apple juice = double fruit punch Every goddamn drink in your house = seizure soda with extra brown

Frosting tastes good on pretty much anything. Frosting on popcorn, frosting on CHEESE popcorn, frosting on pretzels, frosting on hotdogs or burgers, frosting on broccoli. It's like a universal flavor enhancer. Same with ham, be it peanut butter sandwiches, lo mein, pancakes, pickles or ice cream, ham tends to make things taste better.

Do you put frosting on your donuts? :o Maple frosting is best frosting for donits. For everything else, cream cheese frosting / plain vanilla.
I'm gonna go make a root beer float. Should I add anything special? Besides root beer and ice cream?

If you're feeling adventurous, add ham.

No. I had some oreo filling in it. Tasted like pure, solidified dog guts. It was awful.

In hindsight, I agree completely. Maybe I should put BBQ in it next time. MMM, all purpose sauce on pulled pork with ice cream and root beer. All in the same container. Best idea ever.

Use french toast as the bread for grilled cheese, and pepperjack for cheese.
Want ice cream or sherbert when you get out the tub, instead of when it melts enough to not bend spoons? Steak knife.

Fried rice or noodles can be made out of anything. If it's still edible then it'll still taste pretty good in fried rice.

jumbaliah(sp) is the best thing ever. no idea how to make it, but i like it alot. as far as i understand though, you just sort of like, throw seafood and seasoning in a pot. i'm not sure what seasoning, but hey.

I went down to a little place called the Happy Dog on Sunday. They have 50 toppings for hot dogs, and it's free to put as many as you want on each. And the dogs themselves are a quarter-pound, and really nicely cooked. My favorite topping combo is probably relish, sauerkraut, hot sauce, and nachos. Good stuff.
