I swear I feel like the only guy on Win7 who doesn't use the horrifically ugly taskbar program shortcuts.
Also I notice a lot of people here keep their taskbars locked, yet another AWFUL SIN when operating Win7.
You're all sinners. Horribawful sinners. Have fun in HELL, Mr. Mcsinnysins.

I just love the Win7 taskbar over the predecessors. I mean, it's basically rocketdock.
Oh and what does locking the taskbar do now again?
Also, Vista is horribad, just sayan.

Makes it so it doesn't automatically hide itself when you're not hovering your mouse over it.
Therefore it makes it so your taskbar is ALWAYS visible which is exceptionally annoying, because it can obscure things on the lower screen.

You're confusing stuff, Miggles. Locking makes it so that you can't move it to the sides or the top, Auto-Hide makes it go hidden when not in use.

...
Right click and lock your taskbar.
While it does do what you said it did.. It also does what I said it did.
Neither of us are wrong.
