Coalition re-skin
Yes, it's a re-skin. The Coalition is my favourite faction, and ever since I started playing CC I've had a lot of fun refining the Coalition soldiers and weapons to fit the way I like to play. A few people have asked me to upload what I have, so here it is. I don't remember all of the things that I've changed, but the most obvious are these: many sprites have been touched up or re-done, I added a Coalition medic who is much more useful than that damn drone, I changed some of the sounds to be more violent, and I've completely re-vamped the weapons (if you don't like that I got rid of some of the vanilla ones, they're all still there so that you can re-enable them if you want -- you just have to get rid of "Buyable = 0" in each file). This file is Coalition.rte, which means that you'll need to disable the vanilla Coalition.rte if you want to use this properly. I would have changed it, but I didn't feel like going through every file and changing every rte reference. Thanks.

Well ♥♥♥♥, that was hard. For all of you that don't want to disable the vanilla content to play/test this, here's five minutes of my time.

Re: Coalition re-skin
Thank you, Seraph and Crow. Might I suggest, Crow, making these soldiers wear dirt camo? As in the nasty-looking dirt in your edit the the WWII scene. Also, I noticed the Troopship in your version, which I could finish if you now sprite some engines, with a little help from someone who can do offsets.

The clone sprites are great, the rest is kinda meh... >_________>' Still, great job. Definitely replacing the vanilla clone sprites.

Re: Coalition re-skin
Hey I installed the seperate .rte version of this and now whenever my soldiers shoot they don't have tracers. Normally they have the sort of easy to see grey or yellow bullet, but these don't have anything. Not even the occassional tracer.
I just installed it and did skirmish, is this the rest of my CC being screwed up or this?

No, it's just those weapons. I think the tracers look silly.

Oh man, the luger you added for coalition is the greatest gun ever. I love to use that thing on the zombie cave mission, and do jumps, and flips over the enemies. It makes me feel special.

Re: Coalition re-skin
I think it shouldn't be called the Luger (ronin pistol), but rather the Coalition Pistol or something, because the coalition use modular weapons (they look like coalition weapons!), while the ronin use antiquated weapons. Also, no tracers makes it harder for me to correct the aim when sniping (I CAN'T SEE THE BULLET!), but it looks alot more realistic than the current coalition. Good effing job.

It's just confusing because the bullet has quite a big delay.

Jesus fudge your RPG is so OP yet so delicious. I dig the resprites, everything looks a little bit more cohesive now. Reduced clutter in the menu is also pretty rad. Dislike the clone itself though; maybe I'm just used to them standing with legs slightly apart. Kinda looks like they're about to tip over. Enjoyable reskin, though.

I like the way you've made the rawket lawn chair ♥♥♥♥ awesome in the way it kicks up dirt. Having never seen a real life rawkett lawn chair fire and blow stuff up, I don't know if it would actually kick up dirt like that, but what the hell, it looks good. And next time, use ctrl-h to find and replace stuff. Five minutes, that's it.

I like how you distinguished the rocket launcher and homing launchers, rather than one having a blue stripe and one not. Overall yummy. Glad you listened to me and posted it.
I'll probably do something similar with Dummies. Because Dummies are the sex.

I'd love a dummy reskin by Crow. Because while they're awesome, these actors don't fit in anymore.
