Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
You must set their "Buyable" option to 1 in UT_SHIELD/Presets.ini

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
The game keeps spamming me medkit errors in the console. It lags me like hell.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
Lots of lua using stuff in my mod behaves irratically when playing the metagame. I can't solve these issues. I dunno the reason why they're there.
I am sorry to say This UniTec version is the last one I made, unless: - data solves the lua bugs my mod's experiencing. No way that these problems are caused by something in my mod. It worked fine in B27. & data decides to bring back friendly fire or at least disallow actors to group into eachother, forming one giant super cannon. & fix the 5 year old 'exploding actor when at map seam' bug.
These are the main things that ruined the game for me.
Sorry.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
Actually, it happens in all modes, the medkit thing. Unless you are talking about other stuff.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
Post the medkit error, saying something gives errors without specifying what is not very helpful.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
It's a shame that UniTec won't be updated anymore but thanks for the mod, Gotcha, it's always been one of my favourites.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
I can't seem to make it happen again. It's just that sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. It's giving me errors about nil values if that helps.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
It's probably got to do with nil parent. I imagine it happens when the person who threw the medkit dies before the medkit detonates to heal them. I could swear I gave gotcha a version that stopped that from showing up but maybe not or maybe it didn't work completely. Either way, if this is what the error is, it's not a big problem and it'll have no effect on your game except for the error message in the console. If this isn't what it is and you find out, please post so I can look into it.

You are indeed right, it's the nil parent bug you are talking about.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
I just installed this mod tonight, and had a blast testing it out. I especially love what you did with the Zealot Redeemer. Also, the Binoculars was a neat touch. That one made me sort of wonder why binoculars aren't included in the un-modded version of the game.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
Anyone who minds the medkit thing, replace your current medkit.lua (found in Unitec.rte/Devices/Lua) with this one: Attachment:
MedKit.lua [513 Bytes]
Downloaded 361 times
Gotcha, you should probably do the same so that next time you update this'll be changed too. Ultimately though your medkit could probably be done more easily with just lua on the medkit instead of gibbing into a bunch of particles that each heal one. But that's up to you.

Re: UniTec (1.0.0 - CC1.0)
The Ronin do send in troops eventually but very slowly. I meant to check their difficulty level - drop time values but forgot to; I'd suggest taking a look at it.
