Joke "Virus" Mods
We've had a couple of these already, which are basically mods that modify files on the mod user's computer without them knowing.
All of the mods that do this have been simple jokes and were relatively harmless, but has obviously caused some members trouble in believeing that something was wrnog with their version of CC or their copmuter. It's also very possible that these "joke" mods may possibly cause real harm in the future, intentionally or not.
So, I am suggesting that a new rule be implemented for the Mod Release forum, which will require the modder to describe exactly what files their mod will effect if it modifies/adds anything.

Re: Joke "Virus" Mods
I wasn't aware there had been more than one of these. That's a fine suggestion for a rule, CC48. I'll update them now.

Re: Joke "Virus" Mods
yeah, but Mehman's just changed your desktop and showed a fake, closable, joke BSOD. And honestly knowing it was coming would ruin it. It did no harm at all anyway. Now, if we had a real virus.. that would be a problem. Anyway, I personally don't think there should be any rule changes, but then again my input doesn't really carry much weight.
