How to disable audio slowdown when the game is laggy?
I found out that when the game is laggy, the sound will be slowed down and I hate it since I have a slow computer. Is it possible to disable this "feature"? At least by tweaking the console?

Ack, that would surely make something...weird. Just imagine the real world slowed down, but with the sounds NOT slowed down...
I don't really know, but I don't think it's possible. But that's just me!

OK problem solved. I found out that changing the SloMoDurationMS to 0 in Base.rte/Settings.ini will make it WON'T slow down. Sure the game is very laggy (9-10 fps on me), but I'm still happy with the sound not slowed down.

Re: How to disable audio slowdown when the game is laggy?
Cortex COmmand runs better on computers that have a solid Motherboard. It doesn't care for GPU or Multi-Core.
Anyways, the slow down is because of the necessity to have 1 Sim per Frame. I think you can disable that by pressing Ctrl O, or something, but trust me, it's not worth it.
Anyways, blah blah, sim-time, real-time, delta-time, blah blah.

Re: How to disable audio slowdown when the game is laggy?
It only benefits from having extra cores in that the operating system will typically shunt off other tasks from the core that Cortex is running on, increasing the amount of time that Cortex gets to use that particular core. It won't use the extra cores for itself.
