Re: How to install mods on Steam (MAC)
Since OSX Lion, Apple decided to make it difficult to access the directory where Steam games are held, but there are a few quick ways around that. With Finder being the active application, hit Shift-Command-G In the box that pops up type ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Cortex Command/ Right-click the CortexCommand application and choose Show Package Contents Now open the Contents folder and inside there will be a folder called Resources. Make an alias of this (⌘L) and put that alias somewhere that's easier to access. When you download a mod, what you will almost always want is a folder that ends in .rte. Put these in the Resources folder to install mods. It's as simple as that! (Usually.... consult the mod thread if something doesn't work. A lot of mods have problems with sound file incompatibilities on Macs, as well as the infamous / vs \ problem).
