Nuggetz!
I got really tired of the spread-out underground gold clouds in the base game, so I lumped a bunch of the gold nuggets together into larger gold pockets with lesser frequency. Tell me what you think. *Note: The level itself is a kludgy Grasslands edit to make two visible base sites. If anyone would like to use the pockets themselves they are free to. After all, they're basegame sprites. DL HERE?!?!!! Attachment: Nuggetz.rte.rar BLAHBLAH NO CREDIT NEEDED FOR USE BLAHBLAH

Re: Nuggetz!
Guess I'm the first to tell you that while what you did was interesting, I kinda like seeing all that gold glittering everywhere. But I suppose that for those with very low RAM it could lag it up a considerable amount...oh well not me

Re: Nuggetz!
I'll give this map a 2/5 for originallity, but it lacks... map. It's way too small, and you always have to keep your head down from your own bullet lopping and killing you! make it twice the size and you get a wonderful map!
The bright side: great idea for gold!

Re: Nuggetz!
Ok, first off. This isn't anything special. At all.
Second, gold IS ALREADY CLUSTERED! Gasp!
This map is really a more fail version of maps already in existence.
Plus, the fact you spelled it with a 'Z' gives you minus points.

Re: Nuggetz!
Clumps of gold nuggets look terrible. You should have just increased the density, not painted them everywhere in huge globs.

Re: Nuggetz!
If I read correctly, criticisms are: 1. Default nuggets density++ > Edited clumps of nuggets 2. Gold is already in clumps 3. Too small 4. Looks like crap
1. Increasing the density makes a sea of gold, though.
2. I suppose they are already in clumps, more or less. I was referring to Gold000 - Gold009 when I said "clouds". They always feel like clouds to me. Up to you, I guess.
3. What do you suggest, pixelwise?
4. I'm no spriter, sorry. I'll try to make it look less like a bunch of nuggets pasted over each other, though.

A map paved with gold would be fairly cool, although I'm sure you'll tell me it is impossible and a stupid idea and to go back from whence i came.

Re: Nuggetz!
Anyway, in my experience, gold pavingstones are just there to be ostentatious, not nice. Like rappers.

Maps covered in gold lag to all hell.
Just an FYI.
