Re: Mappack II (v1.0) + poll for future versions
I'm actually amazed at how good it looks :P I've tried the mirroring approach and it is possible to make it look better if you put some work into it. The main problem is that the lighting is super weird

Re: Mappack II (v1.0) + poll for future versions
Downloaded then found the maps were really large and laggy, to much room to use. Good noone the less, hope to see you make good lua scrips with them.

(Replied from other thread.) Gotcha! wrote: I think my old maps all have concrete corners (those triangle blocks) on much walked-upon spots to try to circumvent this problem, however, concrete doesn't cut it so I'll have metal corners in the new maps. The main issue I see with a lot of these are that the entrances seem pretty hard for the AI to use. They also get confused and think that the shoot holes (forgot what they're called) are too close to ground, so they use that instead of entrances. What would be good for future maps would be more ground level spots, perhaps some more of the double-height stuff from City Evening. I can say that I'd definitely play these maps more if the enemy actually had a chance at infiltrating. Otherwise, I keep using KMF Pressure nades and making the holes bigger.

Hopefully AI improvements can fix that in the future, but, yeah, I know what you mean.

Re: Mappack II (v1.0)
Ohh yummy! Thats looking so good, I can't wait! Are you planning on making a defence map, Like in the city where the enemies only drop from one side. Such as : If the enemy (Or you) passes the red line it sends units to the new drop zone instead of the one(s) before it.

Re: Mappack II (v1.0)
The new maps won't have lua stuff yet due to several reasons, but eventually stuff like this should be implemented, yup. Also, please use the other thread now.
