Re: Scene: Deep Core Drill Base 732A
This looks like a great map, but (and I post this in spite of warnings) I cannot seem to make MP3's objects load. Yes, I read the readme. Yes, I added "IncludeFile = Maps - Objects/Index.ini" to Scenes.ini at line 141. (just after the comment) Yes, it's still "Maps - Objects" and not a .rte folder. No, I have no idea what's going wrong
It's throwing an error with: "Could not match property in Maps - Objects/Effects.ini at line 2!" And that line is: "AddEffect = Attachable" That ought to work. The code is exactly the same when i reDLed, this is an issue that somehow defies my understanding.
Anyway, I was angry, so I made an rte for this mod, and if I can't make MP3 work I'll just cram all the dependancies into that.
I will forever live in fear of the black-masked Procyon Lotor.

Re: Scene: Deep Core Drill Base 732A
I'm still working on putting it into .rte - haven't quite mastered pulling all the dependencies together and linking them appropriately. Sorry about the confusion there. Totally my fault.
Not to worry, I'll gladly admit my noobishness.

Thanks - I've completely redone this map from scratch now, but until I release my campaign, it'll do for a quickie skirm I suppose.

how do i get this thing to work? I downloaded it then extracted, but nothing happend... Be easy on the emote use, it tends to detract from your post as a whole.

Re: Scene: Deep Core Drill Base 732A
Download the map pack 3, then place this .ini into Maps-Earth.rte, then exit the Index.ini to include it. Add this line to include it, with a tab before it to take it to the same level as the others. Code: IncludeFile = Maps - Earth.rte/Deep Core Drill Base 732A.ini

Re: Scene: Deep Core Drill Base 732A
well i'm sorry i just wanted to express my love of this scene in the only way i know how, posting comments on the topic that was created for it. suppose i could pm the guy who made it, but then i wouldn't be able to share my love for the scene with the entire forum and the average 7 people that are on it at anyone time.
besides now that two other of my comrades have posted there thoughts and feelings on this most wonderfull of scenes, it isn't a dead topic any more is it?
recursive logic wins!
Except the part where people get all bothered about it. Not to worry though, necros are not offenses unless you have nothing useful to add. Please try not to necro though, it does get people all worked up. -Duh
