It's just good business... even when money isn't involved.
That's not something monitors do, really. Ok. First of all I think it's incorrect to say it is good business sense for people to address this issue. You are the only one who has complained, and your monitor size is really weird. It is only good business sense if the benefit outways the cost. The cost is time in this case, and resizing all your backgrounds seems like a lot of time for one single user. As for the second thing about what monitors do and dont do, I know for a fact that I can run my old crt that way, and the ones at my school too. Not sure about LCDs though, mine doesn't really have any settings, but i don't know what you have, so I can't help you there. and for the record, when I said nobody cares, I still continued to discuss the topic, showing that I cared. That contradiction demonstrated that it was a joke. You didn't have to take it personally.

Everybody put the lighter fluid and torches down, no need for a flame war. The problem can probably be fixed if you simple go into the scene's ini files and change the scroll ratio for the background. If that doesn't work, it means the designed background is not wide enough, so your resolution won't support it unless you stretch it or something.

Re: Winter Mountain
Sorry for bumping, but can you make a night version? Somehow when i started CC the background was dark blue, and the snow looked illuminated. It was a bug, and it dissapeared later, but i have to say I enjoyed playing in the night, gives it a more stealthy feel. You've crashed your ship on a big unknown mountain, it's dark and chilly, and the only safe harbor is a deserted base deep inside the snow. After tripping over a piece of metal, you dig away some snow and see a rusted door. You smash open the door, and are relieved there were still some rations left in the cabinets. Maybe from the expeditioners that used this as a base? Then you hear something moving. Suddenly you remember the reports of grizzly murders coming from a mountain area...

So does maart3n. Maybe they should set up their own mod-reclaiming thread together!

Got it from LtCORTES.
Map's OK, but what really bothered me was the background. On the edges of the display, the background shifts from black to blue.
