I remember writing a post about using Arduinos as a dedicated server, but I never got the server application stable enough that you could plug it in and forget about it. Re: Cortex Command Networking
There was a mean post here.
Really, official online play is not happening. Please stop asking for it. It makes people mad (including me) because the question has been answered countless times before. It is, in fact, the most requested feature of Cortex Command and also the least likely of the requested features to happen.
Shibe does not make your post sound any more intelligent or make me like you any more, and neither does red bolded underlined quoted text.

Woo, I'm popular. c:
Again, I need some help. I will put the game plan up if anyone is willing. You will need to PM me with your github username so I can add you as a collaborator.
Brook's law only applies when work is actually being done; Don't worry about it.
P.S. Thanks for the continued interest. For some reason, I am really slow at developing, so the support gives me a reason to keep on going.
Edit: omgomgomg zalo posted in my thread

Pigbear wrote: shibe is bad and you should feel bad Thank you for contributing to the thread... Anyways if you need any play testers I'm up for it. Also, what if you had mods come with the multiplayer? Such as scenes or Techs maybe? Not sure how well this idea would work out in the end though. Welp. Sounds great with or without mods. Good luck! -Rainbow

Re: Cortex Command Networking
Welp, I haven't forgotten about this, but I think I am not going to work on it any longer.
I have been having trouble getting Luasocket to work, and it is kind of crucial to my plan. If anyone knows how to install Lua DLLs in Cortex Command, I would be appreciate all the help.

Re: Cortex Command Networking
Look at how LordTim's IRC scene did it. I believe it involves a folder called "socket" (which just contains a core.dll) and a folder called lua (which contains various lua files for making Socket work) placed in the main directory of Cortex Command along with the .rtes
